Welcome to our Family Tree.I am Maureen Holton (maiden name is Knee)Together with my 
daughter Kathryn Stoete-Holton we started researching the Knee family early in 
2005.Since then we have definatley caught the bug.Those early days our first Tree 
that contained many beginners mistakes has been adapted & continued growing.After 
many hours in the archives researching & learning we have also given & recieved help 
from both family members and geonolagy fans over the world.We have also taken another 
look at each name and tried to verify and rectify mistakes as much as is possible 
when researching anything from so long ago. The  longer we did this the more we found 
that a little intuition  and the tiniest piece of information can  go  a long way, 
even so we appolagise for any mistakes made.Since this web site was created we have 
abt.1500 names that still need to be updated so please feel free to contact

may stil have Most importantly we would like to acknoledge the time that family 
members and visitors from both this site and our Tree on Ancestry uk named "Maureen 
and kathryn's fully updated tree"  have taken to send us photo,s certificates and 
information your input has been and still is invalluble and very much appreciated 
please keep the info.coming as anything no matter how small can be a big help to us
